— 8:30 AM — Novice course walk-through, so, if you're new, come a little early and get… a guided tour.
— 8:45 AM Registration and Tech CLOSED
— 9:00 AM — Mandatory drivers meeting.
Heat 1 will start following the drivers meeting
There will be 30 minute lunch break after the first heat. There is a McDonald's and a Subway across the road and a Sonic down the street, or of course you can bring your own. Bring plenty because it is a long and active day.
Drivers must present a valid driver's license and a valid SCCA membership card, no exceptions. If you're not a current SCCA member you will have the opportunity to purchase a weekend membership.
Drivers must wear full shoes that cover the entire foot. No open toed shoes. Loaner helmets are available.
Remember to bring lots of drinking water and stay hydrated. Bring sunscreen. This is a competitive event and you will stay active and on your feet all day. Drivers are required to work different positions when their group isn't running which usually requires you to stand for extended periods of time.
Never Autocrossed before? Great! Come out and see what it's all about. Our members are exceptionally friendly and helpful to each other especially to new people. We have a Novice drivers meeting/walkthrough before every event where we explain the rules and basic strategies of Autocross. Need more help than that? No problem! Let us know and our Novice Chief will hook you up with one of our more experienced drivers can walk you through every step of the day and answer all your question. Feeling a bit intimidated or unsure? Don't worry, contact one of us ahead of time or throw your question out on the page and we'll answer any questions you may have.
«If unforeseen events (weather, location conflicts, etc.), call for a contingency plan, it will be handled and communicated on a event by event basis.»
